COLOMBO, SRI LANKA – 20th February 2026 – The Cinnamon Grand Colombo officially launched its highly anticipated Ramadan season, hosting an exclusive preview for special invitees and members of the media. The event offered a first look at an authentically curated menu defined by Iftar tradition, and the spirit of community.

This year’s Ramadan offerings are headlined by Guest Chefs Samran and Yasir, who have been specially flown in from Pakistan to bring their culinary expertise to Colombo. In a premier collaboration with flydubai, the hotel has curated a spread that blends the rich, aromatic heritage of Pakistani cuisine with classic Arabian flavours.

The launch evening commenced with an intimate meet-and-greet, allowing media partners, invited guests and collaborators to engage with the chefs and explore the inspiration behind the thoughtfully crafted Iftar menu. The evening was a wonderful start to the season, filled with authentic flavours, meaningful conversations, and the true spirit of Ramadan.
