Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake promised to scrap the tax on food, health and education to zero if he wins the Presidential election.
Speaking in Kiribathgoda, Sunday, Dissanayake also said that a National Peoples Power (NPP) Government will give priority to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
He also said that the NPP will look to reduce the price of fuel and electricity.
Dissanayake also said that the NPP will have talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to review the tax system in the country.
