The Colombo Fashion Week (CFW) successfully concluded its highly anticipated Couture + Trousseau: The Luxury Edit, delivering two electric evenings of high-fashion and glamour. The event, spanning two luxury hotel venues in Colombo, showcased an impressive array of talent, featuring both international designers and Sri Lanka’s finest names.
Day 1: A Venetian-Inspired Opening at Cinnamon Grand
The luxurious fashion extravaganza kicked off on Saturday, the 22nd of November 2025, at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The setting itself was a piece of art, with the runway glowing against a backdrop of striking Venetian-inspired marblelised tiles, created exclusively for CFW Couture by Lanka Tiles.
The opening night featured a dynamic mix of eight designers: three prominent international names and five distinguished Sri Lankan talents. Off the runway, the fashion continued as guests arrived embracing the theme of modern elegance, seen in everything from crisp, tailored suits to sophisticated evening gowns.
Day 2: Star-Studded Finale at ITC Ratnadipa
The fashion extravaganza wrapped up in impeccable style on Day 2 at the newest hotel in town, at the luxurious ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo. The finale evening successfully brought a weekend of couture to a close, a testament to the meticulous planning led by CFW Founder & Managing Director Ajai Vir Singh and CFW Director & CEO Fazeena Rajabdeen.
The final night’s lineup was even more expansive, featuring collections from four international and five Sri Lankan designers. The prestigious roster included:

A highlight of the evening was the special performance during the Lovi Ceylon presentation, where acclaimed Sri Lankan singer Yohani added a unique touch to the atmosphere by performing live on the piano as the couture line debuted.
CFW’s Couture + Trousseau cemented its position as Sri Lanka’s leading fashion showcase, blending global trends with local creativity and celebrating the dedication of the teams working behind the scenes to deliver an effortlessly glamorous event.
