Hollywood star congratulates Sri Lanka for working together to make positive change

Actor Jason Momoa, famous for his portrayal in the movie Aquaman, has extended his congratulations to Sri Lanka following the island’s designation as a UN World Restoration Flagship.

Sri Lanka was designated as a UN World Restoration Flagship for its significant endeavours in rebuilding and restoring mangrove ecosystems.

In a UN video message, Jason Mamoa, the United Nations Environment Programme advocate for life below water, highlighted Sri Lanka’s efforts to restore its lands, especially its coast and oceans, following the tsunami disaster.

“Congratulations Sri Lanka. Mahola for working together to create positive change. You are the example. All my Aloha,” Jason Mamoa said in the video message.
