Sri Lanka, adorned with rich cultural heritage, has become the host to this magnificent event, graciously approved by the Cabinet and sponsored by the Kurukshetra Development Board from Haryana, India. The festival commenced with fervor, as school students from Colombo engaged in a vibrant Rangoli competition, showcasing their artistic prowess. Simultaneously, another group of talented youngsters participated in an Art Competition, infusing colors and creativity into the open-air premises of Nelum Pokuna. The day unfolded with a riveting Cultural Programme, wherein participants embodied characters from the epic Mahabharata, bringing ancient legends to life.

As dusk approached, the festival grounds witnessed the inauguration of an exquisite Exhibition, Craft Bazaar, and Book Fair, enticing visitors with a plethora of cultural artifacts and literary treasures. The day culminated in a grand Maha Yajna, symbolizing unity and spiritual harmony, followed by a mesmerizing Cultural Show presented by Sri Lankan Tri Forces, captivating the audience with their rhythmic performances. The night sky was illuminated with the enchanting tunes of Naada, resonating through the air, echoing the spirit of devotion and celebration.

The seminar sessions, focusing on the essence and application of the Gita’s teachings, are set to engage scholars and enthusiasts alike.
