Miss Sri Lanka Anudi Gunasekara has been selected as the first runner-up from Asia in the Miss World multimedia challenge.
She is the first Sri Lankan ever to achieve this milestone, her media team said.
With this achievement, she also secures a prestigious spot among the Top 8 global winners of the Multimedia Challenge, selected from 108 participants.
The reigning Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková from Czechia, will crown her successor on May 31st, in Hyderabad.
