This highly anticipated new attraction is located on the 4th floor of Colombo’s newest shopping destination, Havelock City Mall in the heart of Colombo 5.Scope Cinemas is set to revolutionise the cinematic experience in Colombo with the opening of its new IMAX Theatre at Havelock City Mall on the 26th of July 2024.

Speaking to Newsasia.lk, Mr. Preetham Daniel, the Vice President for Theatre Development at IMAX – India, S.E.Asia,Korea, Australia & New Zealand, enthused that the IMAX experience is “an experience by itself using a laser facade projection technology” and added that Scope Cinemas will offer audiences all types of visual content from music concerts, to documentaries and all the latest movies which are released on an IMAX platform.
