SiHiTa Fest 2023 is gearing up to be an unforgettable Indo-Sri Lankan musical extravaganza. Organized by Rudhraa Nufais, a prominent actor, producer, and music director from Nabeeha Movie Productions, India, the festival is endorsed by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) with the aim of developing Sri Lankan musicians and showcasing the exceptional talents of both countries.
Scheduled for March 18th, 2023, at the Port City Colombo, SiHiTa Fest 2023 boasts an impressive lineup of talented artists from both nations. The legendary South Indian playback singer and multiple award-winning artist Sirinivas Doraiswamy will headline the event, along with other notable performers, such as Sharanya Srinivas, Velmurugan, Rudhraa, Taher, Sruti Bhide, Umara, Dulan ARX, Iraj, and Satheeshan.
Apart from the musical performances, the festival will also showcase Indo-Sri Lankan culture, cuisine, cinema, and dance. Additionally, visitors will be treated to the mesmerizing magic tricks of the Indian magician Haridas.
During an interview, Mr .Rudhraa Nufais, the chief organizer and director of SiHiTa Fest 2023, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event. He emphasized that the festival is not only an epic musical extravaganza but also an excellent opportunity for the Sri Lankan tourism industry. The SLTPB has endorsed the festival with the objective of developing Sri Lankan musicians and showcasing the incredible talent of both countries.
Rudhraa further highlighted that the festival would provide a fantastic platform for Sri Lankan artists to perform alongside Indian legends, which would expose them to the Indian art and music industry.
