- 12 August 2024, Monday:
- 10:00 AM: The festivities commence with the “Bharatiyam Exhibition and Seminar on India-Sri Lanka Relations and Sustainable Tourism” at the Board Room, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo.
- 4:00 PM: The High Commissioner of India will inaugurate “Bharat Kosh” at the Colombo Public Library, officially launching the week.
- 13 August 2024, Tuesday:
- 10:00 AM: A panel discussion on “India-Sri Lanka Cultural Relations and Shared Buddhist Heritage” will be held at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, accompanied by the Bharatiyam exhibition.
- 14 August 2024, Wednesday:
- 10:30 AM: An interactive lecture demonstration and workshop on Indian folk performances will take place at the Visual and Performing Arts University.
- 1:00 PM: The exhibition on “Participation Horror Remembrance Day” will be inaugurated by the Deputy High Commissioner of India at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC).

- 5:30 PM: The official inauguration of the Bharat-Sri Lanka Maitri Utsav at Independence Square, featuring a Craft Mela, Food Festival, and Folk Festival. The evening will showcase mesmerizing cultural performances by artists from both India and Sri Lanka.
- 16 August 2024, Friday:
- 10:00 AM: A Quiz Competition for school students will take place at Independence Square, testing their knowledge of India-Sri Lanka relations.
- 6:00 PM: A special evening dedicated to Tagore, with cultural performances celebrating the works of the renowned poet.
- 17 August 2024, Saturday:
- 2:30 PM: Art Competitions will be held for children, providing a platform for young artists to showcase their creativity.
- 5:00 PM: A Storytelling Workshop for children, encouraging young minds to explore the art of narrative.
- 6:00 PM: The day will conclude with a Cultural Evening, featuring performances that celebrate the artistic heritage of both nations.

- 3:00 PM: Singing competitions for children will be held, celebrating the musical talents of the younger generation.
- 6:00 PM: The week will culminate in an Open Mic evening, followed by an Award Ceremony recognizing the most outstanding participants.
The Craft Mela will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering an array of traditional crafts, while the Food Festival will operate from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, tantalizing taste buds with a variety of culinary delights.
