“COLOURS OF THE BEACH” at Bellevue Beach Club
On the night of 14th June 2024, Port City Colombo was abuzz with the spectacular and inclusive event, “Colours Of The Beach”,which was held at the stunning Bellevue Beach Club. A celebration of diversity, fashion, and self-expression made it an unforgettable experience for all guests and media who were present.
Colours Of The Beach was a powerful celebration of expressing individual style, freedom, and a sense of community, that was captured by the inviting ambience and colorful décor of the beautiful venue, which also boasts of a fibre glass swimming pool and mesmerising beachfront view. The event was successfully organised by the charismatic duo, William and Ash from AGNAR SL.

Speaking to Newsasia.lk, Ash enthused that the event was aimed at bringing together people from all walks of life to honour individuality and unity in a joyous, and inclusive environment. William, who hails from Canada, has been a resident of Sri Lanka for several years, and has provided talent export opportunities to Sri Lanka, while Ash, originally from Sri Lanka, lived overseas for 15 years and has returned as an international entrepreneur with a mission to empower Sri Lanka with innovative business ideas and high-value products for export and local pride.
The Bellevue Beach Club, operated by hosts Guilaine and Patrick, originally from France, was chosen for its breath-taking location and relaxed atmosphere. With extensive experience running beach clubs in renowned locations like the Côte d’Azur, they have a history of honouring diversity through their events.
The unforgettable event began with the Lagoon Lab Concept Store which presented a Swim & Resort Wear Fashion Show followed by a Glam Glitz Extravaganza and the dazzling duo of transformist performers, Glam Glitz, who entertained guests with their mesmerising costumes and dance routines. Soul Sisters also performed throughout the night which added extra glamour to the event. The night’s music and background beats was provided by the energetic inhouse DJ, Peter June.
Bellevue Beach Club stated that the “Colors Of The Beach” event was a unique opportunity to celebrate all colours and styles in a safe, inclusive, and vibrant location.
