India’s International Groovefest (IIGF) is coming to take Colombo dance lovers by storm this weekend showcasing diverse dance styles! IIGF is an international competitive event that provides a global platform for dance enthusiasts in India and globally.
After four successful seasons that were held in Dubai (2018), Thailand (2019),IIGF Online (2021) and Pattaya (2022),the organisers, Padanyaas Entertainment, has achieved all its targeted goals and is set to take the competition to different countries annually. India’s International Groovefest is the brainchild of choreographer Megha Sampat who is a reputed choreographer from the Indian Film Industry over the past 18 years.
“The vision behind organizing India’s International Groovefest – IIGF is to form a bond between dancing diaspora and the artists across the world and give them a chance to interact and learn from each other on International Dance Platform”, according to the multi talented Megha Sampat. As of now, IIGF is a strong family of 1,188 contestants across 16 countries and growing continuously. Every year the winners of IIGF are awarded with cash prizes, trophies and internationally recognized certificates that gives a massive boost to their careers.
This year the 5th edition of the prestigious competition of India’s International Groovefest 2023 (IIGF 2023) will be taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 18th and 19th November, 2023!
