In a powerful statement, Levan S. Dzhagaryan, the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, confidently declared that Russia is prepared to once again overcome the forces of neo-Nazism and those who support them.
Drawing parallels to the historic victory achieved in 1945, Ambassador Dzhagaryan emphasized that Russia will emerge triumphant against the Ukrainian puppet regime and its backers. Expressing gratitude towards the Sri Lankan government for its adoption of a Non-Alignment Policy, he highlighted the importance of such a stance.

Addressing a gathering at the Viharamahadevi Park’s Cenotaph War Memorial, the Ambassador conveyed his resolute message on the occasion leading up to Victory Day, which is celebrated on May 9. Undeterred by conspiracies aimed at undermining his country, the Russian envoy affirmed that Russia will decisively defeat the neo-Nazi endeavors seeking to undermine its sovereignty.
